Tsybka on Polymarket: The Warrior Trader and His Kingdom
After a long experience in the world of traditional betting, a Polymarket trader named Tsybka saw by pure chance, a post on Telegram. And from there, his journey began, armed with courage and sword. He didn’t know he would become the king of a Discord server and a prominent figure in the Polymarket community; But well, every story has to start somewhere…
From Sports Betting to Crypto Markets
Tsybka’s story begins long before Polymarket existed
“Most of my adult life was spent betting on sports,” he recalls.
For over 10 years, he navigated the world of traditional bookmakers, developing the skills and instincts that would later serve him well in prediction markets.
But traditional betting came with its challenges.
“It had become increasingly difficult to beat bookmakers, with constant account bans and other unpleasant issues,”
he explains. These frustrations pushed him to explore new opportunities, and in 2023, everything changed.
A Telegram Post That Changed Everything
“I discovered Polymarket by chance back in 2023. I think I saw a post about it on Telegram, and it immediately caught my attention,” Tsybka remembers.
The concept wasn’t foreign to him, his decade of betting experience meant he already understood the fundamentals. But Polymarket offered something different.
After spending about a year diving deep into the crypto space, stumbling upon Polymarket was “a very pleasant surprise.” What drew him in was the platform’s approach to markets:
“I’ve always enjoyed betting on exotic, lesser-known events, because that’s usually where the biggest profits are, and Polymarket fit that mindset perfectly.”
It is precisely this great variety of markets, where it is possible to find diverse edges, that is Polymarket’s strength; From cultural events to elections in many countries.
The Role of Luck and Skill
When asked whether he feels lucky about his success on Polymarket, Tsybka gives a balanced perspective that reflects his years of experience in both worlds.
“Partly yes, and partly no. Luck definitely plays a role in prediction markets, but so do specific skills, the ability to react quickly to events, stay flexible, and simply think clearly and rationally.”
Success isn’t just about being in the right place at the right time, it’s about having the tools to capitalize on opportunities when they arise. Because, as polynoob likes to remind us, opportunities will always be there, but it’s up to the individual to know how to spot them.
From Losses to Lessons
Interestingly, Tsybka’s transition to crypto and prediction markets marked a turning point in his trading history.
“My losses essentially stopped once I got into crypto and, later on, prediction markets,” he states.
While he did experience losses with traditional bookmakers earlier in his career, he maintained overall profitability and, more importantly, the right mindset.
“I reacted calmly, treating those losses as experience and simply minor missteps.”
This emotional control, developed over years of traditional betting, has proven invaluable in the volatile world of prediction markets.
The Entertainment of Dispute Markets
While Tsybka can’t point to one specific market that left a lasting impression, he has a clear favorite category: dispute markets.
“There were several memorable ones, especially dispute markets. They tend to attract a lot of degens who lose their money in pretty silly ways. Watching that is always entertaining, and it definitely affects my mood in a positive way”
Dispute markets often attract emotional, poorly-informed bettors, creating opportunities for disciplined traders who understand the rules and can think clearly under pressure.
However, it is important to remember that not all traders are 100% aware of their actions, and often help or information can be vital for many people, so be kind in these situations.
Building the Tsybka Kingdom
Tsybka isn’t just a successful trader, he’s also building a community. His most ambitious project is his Discord server, the Tsybka Kingdom.
“I created my Discord server about a month and a half ago because I didn’t want to depend on anyone else. I simply wanted my own space, a place with calm discussions and thoughtful ideas, which is hard to achieve in many other communities.”
The medieval theme isn’t just aesthetic, it reflects his overall image:
“a warrior-like character fighting against evil.” In just six weeks, around 900 people have joined the kingdom; Thank you to everyone, and yes, if you haven’t joined yet, now is the perfect time to do it, haha”
This community-building effort shows Tsybka’s vision extending beyond personal profit to creating value for others in the Polymarket ecosystem.
Relay and the Warrior ?
No discussion of Tsybka would be complete without addressing the elephant in the room: his ongoing feud with Relay, another great prominent figure in the Polymarket community.
When asked about why Relay talks about him, he responds with characteristic dismissiveness:
“As for Relay, he’s basically a local jester. He probably has some self-control issues, since he goes after not only me but about 95% of other traders as well. It seems that years of betting haven’t done great things for his emotional control.”
Rather than engaging seriously, he maintains his composure:
“I honestly just find him amusing, I don’t take him seriously at all, I usually just laugh it off.”
For many traders, Relay represents a sort of archetype of the Polymarket trader. Loved or not, he is the personification of a range of emotions that are fundamental to the community, big love for everybody
Advice for Future Warriors
When asked for advice for future traders, he starts with humor:
“Use my referral link and start placing bets, haha.”
But then he gets serious, offering wisdom earned through years of experience across both traditional and prediction markets:
“Making money on prediction markets isn’t that complicated. You just need to be a bit smarter than the average degen, have quick reactions, strong stress tolerance, and a positive mindset.
Over time, by learning from your own mistakes, you’ll develop a strategy that actually works for you and brings consistent profits.”
This advice is deceptively simple but profound, it doesn’t promise easy money or secret strategies.
The Warrior Path of Tsybka on Polymarket: From Traditional Betting to polymarket Warrior
Tsybka’s journey from traditional sports betting to becoming a prominent Poly trader exemplifies how skills from one domain can transfer to another. His years of betting experience gave him the foundation: understanding odds, managing risk, controlling emotions, and spotting value where others don’t.
But he didn’t just transfer old skills, he adapted them to a new environment. The exotic, lesser-known markets he gravitates toward on Polymarket mirror his approach in traditional betting. Also his Kingdom reflects his desire for independence and quality discourse 🙂
The warrior continues his campaign, sword in hand, building his kingdom one trade at a time!!!
