Trump Whale known by aliases such as Theo4, Fredi9999, PrincessCaro, and Michie, Théo is “French” trader who made headlines in 2024 by placing massive bets on Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election via Polymarket. Utilizing at least 11 accounts, he wagered over $30 million, achieving a total profit estimated at around $85 million the highest ever recorded by a single user on the platform.

Théo employed a unique strategy, commissioning private polls that accounted for phenomena like the “shy Trump voter” and the “neighbor effect” to gauge the true sentiment of American voters. These methodologies provided him with a significant informational advantage, enabling accurate predictions of the election outcome.​

Despite the scale of his bets, Polymarket conducted an investigation and confirmed that Théo’s activities did not constitute market manipulation but were directional positions based on personal convictions.​

To date, Trump Whale full identity remains unknown. However, his activities have been studied by Domer, a well-known Polymarket user and trader who was one of Théo’s main counterparts in the electoral markets.
